There’s been a big (quassi heated) debate in the office over the last couple of days about how useful or indeed how damaging Apps are re the ethos of the web.. to generate original content, to share , to debate, to cross link .. to have an open landscape in which to roam and interact with everyone.
By Apps we’re talking Apps that use content / copy / news / rather than Apps that take photos or shine a light in a dark room (not metaphorically).
